This is the original Kodava Kokkethathi pendant traditionally worn by married women from Coorg in Karnataka; it is crafted in Sterling Silver (92.5%) and gold-dipped. It is a traditional crescent shaped pendant with a serpent at the helm, below which is an image of Goddess Lakshmi. The Goddess embodies wealth and prosperity and the serpent, fertility. The rim of the pendant is fringed with pearls.
